Shain ZumBrunnen OTR/L, CHT
Shain ZumBrunnen OTR/L, CHT has extensive experience and training for the entire upper extremity. As a hand therapist he also specializes in treatment of orthopedic and soft tissue rehabilitation of the shoulder, tendonitis, and post surgical recovery for the upper extremity. Evaluation and assessment of non-surgical dysfunction is an area of strength for Shain. He is skilled at assessing an individual’s ability and making a plan of care to promote health and independence in order to restore pain free function.
Jennifer L'Esperance, MS, OT
Jennifer L’Esperance, MS, OT graduated from Western Michigan University with the distinction Summa Cum Laude. Jen has focused her training and career in hand therapy and has recently relocated to work with H.Q.T. She is in process of pursuing her Certified Hand Therapy certification and is an excellent addition to the H.Q.T. Team.
Sherrie Gerstung COTA/L
Sherrie Gerstung COTA/L Graduated from the Academy of Health Sciences in Fort Sam Houston, TX. Sherrie has continued education in the areas of joint mobilization, treatment of the hemiplegic shoulder, and physical modalities. Sherrie has specialized in upper extremity care both neurological and orthopedic for most of her 11 year career.
Mark Plunkett OTR/L, CHT
Mark has practiced in the field of physical medicine for over 23 years. He first worked as a physical therapist assistant, then furthered his studies and graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Occupational Therapy. Mark completed an extensive internship at Allenmore Hand Therapy Clinic located in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Since then, Mark has continued his education in the realm of upper extremity orthopedics and has been privileged to work with many orthopedic surgeons and fellow-trained hand surgeons. Mark has successfully managed his own upper extremity therapy clinic and taught advanced dynamic splinting continuing education courses to both occupational and physical therapists. His work experience is in depth in the area of shoulder and hand.
