JOB TITLE: Occupational Therapist Specializing in Upper Extremity Care – Wasilla, Alaska
Health Quest Therapy, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced outpatient Hand Therapist in our Wasilla, AK clinic.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- – Carries out the prescription of the physician; including static and dynamic splinting and other modalities
- – Evaluates patients referred for hand therapy and upper extremity treatment
- – Maintains patient treatment schedules
- – Prepares and submits treatment notes, progress notes and discharge reports
Health Quest Therapy, requirements:
- – Graduate from a college with an accredited curriculum
- – Outpatient orthopedic experience that includes exercise and manual based skills, sports rehab preferred
- – Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist currently licensed or eligible for license in the state of Alaska
- – 2 Years of focused Hand Therapy/Upper Extremity experience can be substituted for (CHT) Certification

JOB TITLE: Client Care Specialist-Front Desk – Eagle River, Alaska
FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers, formerly Health Quest Therapy, has an immediate opening for a full-time, CCS-Front Desk associate for our Eagle River clinic. The CCS-Front Desk will lead the effort to promote a patient-first agenda through courteous and professional communications while serving as the initial point of contact for clinic visitors, staff, and referring physicians. The ideal candidate enjoys and cares deeply about the well-being of others, has prior experience working in the field of medicine, and is ready to greet patients with a smile and an air of optimism and encouragement. The CCS-Front Desk works closely with clinicians, clinic staff, referring physicians, and, when appropriate, the client’s/patient’s family to ensure a successful outcome and positive treatment experience.
General duties and responsibilities:
- – CCS-Front Desk greets all clinic visitors
- – All front office communications including phone, fax, mail service, answering machine, and others
- – Assists clients/patients with intake paperwork and ensures completeness and accuracy to the best of their ability
- – Schedules patient appointments and provides patients/clients with a record of future appointments
- – CCS-Front Desk accepts payment for services
- – Administers the retail concession and assists clinic visitors with the purchase of therapeutic products
- – Maintains the inventory of retail concessions
- – Maintains open communications with the patient’s/client’s referring physician
- – Collaborates with clinicians and clinical staff to reduce patient/client cancellations and no-shows
- – CCS-Front Desk adheres to all legal and ethical standards of confidentiality
- – Maintains an organized and efficient workspace and a high level of detail when completing tasks
- – Maintains a respectful demeanor and conducts oneself in a manner consistent with the highest standards of honesty, courtesy, integrity, and professionalism
- – Actively participates in promoting clinic efficiency and productivity goals
Qualifications and skills required
- – High School Diploma or equivalent
- – Two (2) years of clinical experience in medical administration

JOB TITLE: Physical Therapist – Eagle River, Alaska
Job Description:
Health Quest Therapy, Inc. has an opening for a full time, staff Physical Therapist at our Eagle River, Alaska clinic.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- – Identifies functional problems and establishes goals and a plan of care designed to improve the patient’s functional status.
- – Performs patient tests, measurements, and evaluations, such as range of motion and manual muscle tests, gait and functional analysis, and body part measurements, and records and evaluates findings to aid in establishing or revising specifics of treatment.
- – Performs and completes assessments and associated record keeping in accordance with clinic policy.
- – Instructs patient and family members, as well as other health team members, during certain phases of physical therapy in which they may work with the patient
- – Prepares and submits reports, progress notes and discharge reports
Health Quest Therapy, requirements:
- – The qualified candidate will possess a degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA Accredited University
- – licensed in the State of Alaska or eligible to be licensed in the state of Alaska
- – Minimum of one-year experience as a practicing Physical Therapist required.
- – Two plus years of working in an orthopedic setting is preferred.
